Today distributed 3000 postcard to kanvas Society a small NGO which works for underprivileged and poor children. They are commemorating the week of sharing of joys and love among school children through distributing the postcard. They will share their feelings  by writing the letters to their love ones, friends and families.
To support their serene and novice act it is the small effort by Shastri Nagar Head Post Office on behalf of INDIAPOST. The overall target of distribution is more than 10000 postcard.

Today I visited  Postman beat no 1. Kachchi basti at the bottom of  Nahargarh fort hill in Jaipur. The condition of Basti was very poor, unhygienic,and very congested. Still our Postman are performing their duties very well. They are the guide of poor people, friend of old age people, young children, and healer of so many problems of common poor people. Poverty, and illiteracy are the major problems of this area. So many Old aged, widow women are managing their monthly expenditure with five hundred rupees of Vriddha Pension Yojna. This situation has reminded me million time that which is more important? 500 rupees for them or extravaganza in KFC full bucket chicken worth rupees 500!!!

Really salute to my Postmen. Very soon you will be seeing a new and refreshing look of my Postmen. I promise.

A new trail ... plantation on behalf of India Post

Recently plantation has been done at Head office Shastri Nagar premises. Around 27 seedlings have been planted of different species like Gulmohur, Bottle brush, Kachnar, Har Singar, Silver oak etc. On this auspicious occasion so many officers were present. My DPS sir and other SSPO were also present and contributed in plantation activities. All staff of office has been given responsibility to take care of their respective plants. CCF Rajsthan Mrs Shruti Sharma madam cooperated in making superior quality sapling available for our office
